Key Responsibilities

The Product Owner at DOR is responsible for making users visit DOR more often, create more videos, and connect more strongly.

At DOR, we believe the most important thing is data and user voices when building the product customers want. The PO is at the center of this process, defining problems and leading the team to deliver real results.

What the Product Owner does

  • Establish and execute the squad's product roadmap.
  • Formulate hypotheses and design experiments to improve user retention and engagement.
  • Define problems and determine priorities based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and data analysts.
  • Make product decisions by combining qualitative VOC and quantitative data.
  • Improve and learn through rapid 1-2 week iterations.

What's especially important in this role

We're looking for someone who defines problems and drives results, not someone who just organizes features.

  • Deep understanding of why users churn and why they come back
  • Ability to extract key insights from complex data and quickly connect them to action
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and align the entire team in one direction
  • Attitude of formulating hypotheses and validating them to move forward even in uncertain situations

Services You'll Build

Gameplay Auto-Recording (Record)

  • Enable users to automatically capture moments they don't want to miss.
  • The goal is to create an experience where "it just records perfectly without any setup."

Video Creation · Editing (Create / Edit)

  • Turn auto-generated clips into short, watchable videos.
  • Create an experience where output satisfaction is high without complex editing.

Community · Sharing (Community / Share)

  • Create a space where gamers share their gameplay, react to each other, and build relationships.
  • Design community experiences that drive more reactions and connections between users.

How We Work

  • At DOR, we build the product customers want, not the product the CEO wants.
  • We iterate in short 1-2 week cycles: problem definition, hypothesis, execution, measurement, and learning.
  • We make decisions based on data and customer voices, not gut feelings.
  • POs don't just write documents -- they define problems and drive results.
  • We build fast, validate fast, and adjust direction fast.
  • We are relentlessly focused on building products users love.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT product planning, PO, PM, or related roles
  • Experience launching and iterating on at least one service
  • Experience with data-driven decision making and A/B testing
  • Experience collaborating across functions to quickly move products to execution
  • Proficiency with SQL or data analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Able to work in San Francisco, CA / United States
  • Experience with video services, social media, or gaming platforms
  • Experience with 0-to-1 product launches or scale-up
  • Experience in global service planning
  • A gamer or someone with deep understanding of gamer behavior
  • Able to communicate in English

You'll Be a Great Fit If...

  • You solve problems rather than just organize features
  • You proactively identify core problems on your own
  • You prefer rapid validation and learning over perfect planning
  • You can see both detailed UX and the big picture
  • You understand not just numbers but also user emotions and context
  • You want to build products people keep coming back to, not just simple tools

What to Include in Your Resume

  • Clearly describe the Problem - Hypothesis - Action - Result for products you've built.
  • Tell us which metrics you used to judge success or failure.
  • Include specific numbers showing changes before and after iterations.
  • Share any problems you independently defined and solved based on data and VOC.
  • Rather than listing tasks, show your thinking, decisions, execution, learning, and outcomes.
