Key Responsibilities

The Product Owner (Growth Squad) at DOR is responsible for helping more gamers discover DOR, actually sign up, quickly experience value, and stay.

The Growth Squad is the organization at the forefront of solving new user acquisition and early retention to deliver DOR's core value to more users.

This position is not just about improving the product -- it's about directly building growth structures that bring in more users and make them stay.

What the Growth Squad PO does

  • Define and prioritize problems for increasing new user acquisition.
  • Analyze how users discover DOR, install it, sign up, and experience their first value moment.
  • Analyze early churn points after acquisition and design actions to improve early retention.
  • Plan and experiment with direct growth levers such as referrals, sharing, virality, promotions, and onboarding.
  • Structure growth problems and rapidly validate them based on qualitative VOC and quantitative data.
  • Improve acquisition efficiency and early retention through rapid 1-2 week experiments.
  • Work with marketing, partnerships, designers, engineers, and data teams to drive real growth metric changes.

Services You'll Build

Acquisition

  • Design experiences that get more users to discover, install, and sign up for DOR.
  • Improve all channels and entry experiences where users first encounter DOR.

Activation / Onboarding

  • Help new users experience DOR's core value as quickly as possible.
  • Design the initial experience leading to first recording, first video creation, and first share.

Early Retention

  • Design experiences that prevent acquired users from churning immediately after first use and bring them back.
  • Identify and improve key segments that drive early repeat usage.

Referral / Viral

  • Build structures that let users naturally spread DOR to other gamers.
  • Design the product itself to become a channel for new user acquisition.

Partnership-Based Acquisition

  • Connect external acquisition channels such as PC cafes, gaming communities, and partner channels with the product experience.

Key Metrics for Growth Squad

  • New active users
  • Daily Retention / D7 / D30 Retention
  • Sign-up conversion rate
  • Viral K, Share, Partnership performance

The goal is not simply to increase user numbers, but to directly bring in more users and make them quickly experience value and stay.

How We Work

  • At DOR, we build the product customers want, not the product the CEO wants.
  • We iterate in short 1-2 week cycles: problem definition, hypothesis, execution, measurement, and learning.
  • We make decisions based on data and customer voices, not gut feelings.
  • POs don't just write documents -- they define problems and drive results.
  • We build fast, validate fast, and adjust direction fast.
  • We are relentlessly focused on building products users love.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT product development or related fields
  • Experience launching and iterating on at least one service
  • Ability to define problems using both quantitative data and VOC
  • Ability to sharply define problems and translate them into testable hypotheses
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and quickly move products to execution
  • High standards and passion for great products regardless of domain

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Growth, Consumer Product, social media, or UGC services
  • Experience directly driving new user acquisition
  • Experience with referrals, sharing, virality, onboarding, and conversion funnel optimization
  • Experience solving early retention problems after acquisition
  • Experience improving actual growth metrics through experiment design and result interpretation
  • A gamer or someone with deep understanding of gamer behavior
  • Strong interest in why people sign up, try products, stay, and leave

You'll Be a Great Fit If...

  • You solve problems rather than just organize features
  • You proactively identify core growth problems on your own
  • You prefer rapid validation and learning over perfect planning
  • You understand not just numbers but also user emotions and context
  • You're excited about directly bringing in new users and making them stay
  • You want to solve growth problems that span the boundary between marketing and product
  • You're interested in the process of delivering product value to more users

What to Include in Your Resume

  • Clearly describe the Problem - Hypothesis - Action - Result for products you've built.
  • Tell us which metrics you used to judge success or failure.
  • Include specific numbers showing changes before and after iterations.
  • Share any problems you independently defined and solved based on data and VOC.
  • Rather than listing tasks, show your thinking, decisions, execution, learning, and outcomes.
