About DOR
DOR builds an AI-powered video community service for gamers, growing to 2M MAU within 2 years of launch.
How DOR Designers Work
At DOR, designers are the people who take the hypotheses and problems we define together as a team, and turn them into the design solutions users actually experience. Beyond a single screen, you own the interactions, flows, and visual polish that the user actually feels, end-to-end.
- Contribute across Creator, Community, and Growth, leading with your design strengths.
- Propose the clearest, most compelling design solution to the hypotheses and problems we define together as a team.
- Rapidly turn hypotheses into design solutions with the help of AI, and own interaction and motion details yourself.
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers so design intent ships intact into the product.
- Refine designs on a 1–2 week cadence, watching user response to decide what comes next.
- Hold usability, visual polish, and interaction detail at the same time.
What You'll Ship
Depending on your strengths and our current priorities, you may own design in any of the product areas below, often across multiple at once.
Creator · Gameplay Into Content
- Design the full creator flow: auto-recording, clip generation, editing, and sharing.
- Aim for "capture without setup, satisfying output without editing."
- Translate complex video editing into game-native UX anyone can use fast.
Community · Where Gamers Connect
- Design feed, profile, follow, notification, and reaction, the core community UX.
- Shape why users come back and how relationships form, as UX problems to design for.
- Build the interactions that move retention, engagement, and network effects.
Growth · Acquisition and Virality
- Design landing pages, onboarding, experiment pages, and the full funnel UX and visuals.
- Design experiences that move conversion, and iterate on them quickly.
- Design hooks and viral interactions inside the product as part of the growth loop.
How We Work
- We build the product customers want, not the one the CEO wants.
- We loop through hypothesis, design, validation, and learning every 1–2 weeks.
- We make judgment calls based on data and customer voice, not instinct.
- PO, designers, and engineers work as one team — each bringing their own craft. Designers go deep on design.
- We build the product as one team, without squad silos.
- Ship fast, validate fast, adjust direction fast.
Tech Stack
You don't need experience with every tool here, we expect fast learning and fast adoption.
