Key Responsibilities
This position is not about analyzing a single feature. You will oversee the entire core product experience at DOR, structurally understand why users create, share, react, and return, and help the product team make better decisions.
- Analyze core user behavior data across DOR's features including auto-recording, clip creation, editing, sharing, feed, profile, reactions, and notifications.
- Structurally identify where users drop off, why they don't repeatedly use the product, and what drives sharing and return visits.
- Define core KPIs for Creator / Community and manage them in a continuously measurable format.
- Design experiments with the product team and analyze which changes created truly meaningful improvements.
- Derive insights needed for product prioritization by examining both VOC and quantitative data.
- Help the team make faster decisions and take action through dashboards, analysis documents, and reports.
- Participate in event design, data quality verification, and analytics environment improvements.
Key Challenges in This Role
This role is looking for someone who uncovers the most important product questions with data, rather than someone who just organizes numbers.
- Why do users create their first video, and why don't they make another?
- What experiences lead to creation completion, sharing, and viewing?
- Which users stay longer, and which leave faster?
- How do feed and reaction experiences actually affect return visits and retention?
- Which experiments actually created meaningful behavioral changes?
- What problem should the product team solve first right now?
Products You'll Build
Automatic Gameplay Recording (Record)
- Enable users to automatically capture moments they don't want to miss.
- Analyze whether the auto-recording experience actually leads to real usage and repeated creation.
Game Video Creation / Editing / Sharing (Create / Edit / Share)
- Analyze experiences that help users create videos more easily and share more frequently.
- Structurally understand the entire funnel from creation to editing to sharing.
Community
- Analyze experiences that drive users to visit more often, watch more, react more, and stay longer.
- Analyze how feed, profiles, comments, likes, follows, and notifications actually impact retention and engagement.
Key Metrics DOR Focuses On
- New Daily Acquisition User
- Daily Retention / D7 / D30 Retention
- Community engagement
The core goal is to make more users come more often, react more, and connect more strongly.
