Key Responsibilities

The Growth Operator at DOR drives more gamers to discover DOR for the first time, actually sign up, and keep coming back.

The Growth Squad is the organization at the forefront of solving DOR's core challenge: "Get more gamers to experience DOR, stay, and spread the word."

The Growth Operator executes growth strategies alongside the PO, moving directly in the field closest to gaming communities to create growth actions.

What the Growth Operator Does

  • Plan and execute various growth actions to drive new user acquisition.
  • Discover DOR expansion opportunities in gaming communities, partner companies, offline spaces, and events.
  • Communicate directly with users through Discord and community channels to boost engagement.
  • Directly execute content creation and viral marketing experiments.
  • Handle execution across growth functions including sales, partnerships, and offline events.
  • Organize execution results into data and share with the team to support fast decision-making.

Key Challenges in This Role

We're not looking for a simple operator, but someone who actually brings in users.

  • How to get gamers to discover and install DOR for the first time
  • How to create natural viral spread in community channels
  • How to build structures where on-the-ground actions translate into actual acquisition metrics
  • How to maximize exposure and conversion with limited resources

Key Metrics for the Growth Squad

  • New installs / sign-ups
  • Channel-specific acquisition conversion rate
  • D1 / D7 early retention
  • Viral Coefficient
  • Community channel engagement
  • Event / campaign conversion rate

The core goal is not to run many events, but to make more users discover DOR, actually try it, and spread the word.

How We Work

  • DOR moves based on data and user feedback, not the CEO's preferred direction.
  • We repeat execution, measurement, and learning in short 1-2 week iterations.
  • Even small experiments are measured and shared with the team.
  • The Growth Operator is not someone who just follows instructions -- you find opportunities and move on your own.
  • Execute fast, observe reactions, and find better methods.

Qualifications

  • All experience levels welcome (passion and execution ability come first)
  • Deep understanding of gaming communities and trends
  • Fast execution ability and initiative
  • Someone who finds joy in directly communicating with communities and users

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Discord servers
  • Experience with content creation or creator activities
  • Experience with gaming community building or viral campaigns
  • Experience measuring and improving results based on data
  • English communication ability
  • Interest in full-time conversion

You'd Be a Great Fit If You Are...

  • Someone who finds opportunities and moves first rather than waiting for instructions
  • Someone who directly experiences and empathizes with gamer language and culture
  • Someone who enjoys execution and feedback loops where results are immediately visible
  • Someone who wants to validate even small experiments with data
  • Someone who wants to be part of building a gaming platform from the very beginning

What to Highlight in Your Resume

  • If you've planned and executed events, campaigns, or community activities on your own, please share.
  • If you can explain results with numbers or reactions, that would be great.
  • If you've led gaming, community, or viral-related initiatives on your own, please describe.
  • Rather than listing education and experience, we'd love to see your motivation, thought process, execution, and learnings.
